McCabe Ford Williams is delighted to announce that we will be co-sponsoring the Turner Contemporary summer exhibition Seeing Round Corners – the Art of the Circle with fellow Business Circle members Boys & Maughan Solicitors and Miles & Barr Estate Agents.
Seeing Round Corners: The Art of the Circle
Seeing Round Corners is Turner Contemporary’s major summer exhibition exploring the ways in which artists have responded to or incorporated the circle in their work. The exhibition will bring together over 100 artworks and artefacts, from 3000BC to the present day, including Egyptian sculpture and Leonardo da Vinci’s sketches, Paul Nash’s symbolic landscapes and the performance photography of Rebecca Horn. These sit alongside works by JMW Turner, William Blake, Barbara Hepworth, Bridget Riley and Anish Kapoor.
The exhibition runs from Saturday 21st May to Sunday 25th September and is curated by artists David Ward and Jonathan Parsons, with Turner Contemporary.
Admission is free.
If you are in the area we hope you can visit the exhibition and take a fresh look at the circle, disc, sphere and orb.
