From 1 April 2016 workers aged 25 and over will be legally entitled to a new minimum pay rate of £7.20 per hour. This is being referred to as the National Living Wage (NLW).
Employers will need to check which of their staff will be eligible for the new rates and ensure their payrolls are updated in time.
More information about the National Living Wage can also be found on the National Living Wage website.
