MFW – It’s Monte Carlo or bust!
The Dandelion Time Rowathon: Marden to Monte Carlo Event
Our Maidstone office is proud to announce that they will be sponsoring their clients Dandelion Time in The Dandelion Time Rowathon: Marden to Monte Carlo. The event, which takes place this weekend, is already underway at the NMA Physical Training Centre in Marden and will see individuals and teams of rowers work together to row an incredible 1000 miles non-stop throughout its duration. The equivalent of rowing from Marden to Monte Carlo!
The Rowathon is aimed at raising money for the Kent based charity Dandelion Time which was established to help children and families that have been victims of trauma, abuse and neglect. The charity works with the children and their families to overcome past difficulties and re-build their confidence and self-esteem to build a better future.
During this weekend there will be the opportunity for the more competitive and enthusiastic rowers to take part in a number of timed challenges including the MFW Adult timed challenge.
However, if you cannot make this event and still wish to get involved you can!
Row off-site, anywhere in the world; take a photo of your score and a photo of the rower(s) too. Then e-mail your photos to fundraising@dandeliontime.org.uk AND donate £1 for every minute rowed.
Of course, you can also just donate and skip the rowing part, if this seems all too strenuous for you.

- Friday Afternoon – Rowing coaching available from ex-GB International Rower
- Friday Evening – Corporate Evening
- Friday Night – Sports massage
- Saturday – Nutrition advice
- Saturday Evening – Team & Club night, music & BBQ
- Sunday – Family Day, lunch, finish and winner announcement!
