Finn Tumber, a member of our Sittingbourne office, will be hosting a 11 a side Charity Football Tournament this Sunday (18th July) in memory of his brother Connor Mackay who sadly lost his life after a long battle with mental health almost two years ago.

Raising money for mental health prevention
The fundraiser is aiming to raise £2000 in Connor’s memory in aid of the Mental Health Foundation a registered charity which looks to prevent mental illness.
Details of the event
The event will take place on Sunday 18th July between 1-5pm at the Appleyard Sports Bar, Gore Court Road, Sittingbourne, Kent, ME10 1QN.
Activities
- 11 a side football tournament
- charity raffle
- a ‘guess the number of sweets in the jar competition in aid of the charity and, for the very brave,
- a charity leg waxing event.
As Sunday promises to be a scorcher there will also be an ice-cream van providing much needed cool refreshments.
Covid safety
The outdoor event is being run in accordance with the current strict Covid guidelines with separate tables and social distancing. The masks, face and space guidance will also be strictly observed and the fundraiser will be observing the venue’s Covid guidance.
