The Carbon Trust has launched a new Green Business Fund to help small businesses in England, Wales and Scotland cut costs and save money. The fund will compose of grants available for business owners to carry out energy saving training and advice.

It is anticipated that the scheme will help approximately 2,000 small businesses to invest £55m in energy saving projects, generating lifetime energy savings of up to £130m.

Applicants can apply for up to 15% of project costs with a cap set at £10,000 but you will need to hurry as grants will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
