Budget to end austerity
Yesterday Chancellor Philip Hammond delivered what should be his last Budget ahead of ‘Brexit’ . In doing so he stated that the Conservative party were confident of a Brexit deal which he said “would open up a new chapter in our Country’s economic future”. “Confident, he said, but not complacent”. He stipulated a three pronged approach to his Budget as we near the 30 March deadline including, if warranted, upgrading the Spring Statement into a full fiscal event.
