About Ashford
Ashford lies on the River Great Stour at the south edge of the North Downs and is located approximately 60 miles to the southeast of central London. The high speed route (HS1) trains run from Ashford International fast to London St. Pancras with a journey time of approximately 40 minutes.
Close by is the port of Dover (for ferries to Calais & Boulogne) and, in nearby Folkestone, the Eurotunnel port for Le Shuttle services to Calais. Ashford is also a key stopping point for the Eurostar for trains to the continent making Ashford exceptionally well placed for local, national and international travel.
