Vacancy:  Bookkeeper and accounts junior required in our Dover office

We are a well-established firm of chartered accountants with six offices across Kent. In our Dover office we have a varied portfolio of clients which includes many small and medium sized businesses to whom we offer a wide variety of business services.

Bookkeeper position

Would suit a qualified AAT or someone qualified by experience. The applicant will, ideally, have experience with online bookkeeping packages as well as experience in processing payroll (on Sage Payroll). Your work would involve bookkeeping to both us and our clients and payroll processing for our clients.

Accounts junior position

Would suit a graduate with a 2.1 qualification or better or a school leaver with excellent GCSE/A-level grades.  Your work would involve producing accounts, bookkeeping, VAT returns, tax and payroll for our clients. Full training will be provided.

Full time positions (37.5 hours per week) with immediate starts possible.

Salary dependent on the qualifications and experience of the applicant.

Vacancy for Insolvency Administrator

The busy insolvency department of our Sittingbourne office is looking for an experienced, preferably CPI qualified, insolvency administrator.  The successful candidate will assist the Insolvency Practitioners with CVL’s, MVL’s, Bankruptcies and compulsory liquidations, including collecting book debts, dealing with creditors, directors and employees, placing statutory adverts, reviewing cases, writing reports and making distributions to creditors and shareholders.

The position is full time with the possibility of some working from home.  Salary to be agreed.
