Sage has advised us that HMRC will, from 14 February 2018, be making changes to their VAT Portal. The Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) will be decommissioned and all existing services will migrate to a new platform.
What does this mean for Sage users?
To accommodate the changes, Sage will be updating the latest version of Sage 50 Accounts only. Therefore, you will need to upgrade to the latest version of this Sage Software if you want to continue to submit your VAT return. Alternatively, you will have to do this manually.
